Stéphane Chalangeas

Key Accounts Manager & Business Development.

Born in Paris, Stéphane Chalangeas is a veteran new media executive who has made most of his career building companies, mainly in London but also around the world. After graduating in business administration and marketing from Brunel University, where he specialised in electronic media, he was part of the original Dow Jones team who created what would become CNBC Europe. As early as the mid nineties he streamed Business TV on the internet.

He later joined Bloomberg TV where spearheaded the commercial operations: distribution, marketing and media sales for the EMEA. In 1999, as EVP of global media sales he joined Spotcast, a startup that inserted audio and SMS geo localised advertising in mobile phone calls. He then became CEO of Enfocast, a bouquet of broadband business channels owned by ComerzBank and beamed directly into intranets via satellites. Recently, Stéphane has turned his attention to Social Media, Content Marketing and SEO.

At Hamlet Intl. he is the driving force behind developing the company internationally and on the internet. In this capacity he is always on the lookout for new partners who can bring the necessary skills.

On a day to day basis Stephane focuses on:

  • Making sure that existing clients get what they pay for and retain Hamlet International’s services.
  • Acquiring new long term clients.

Jayme Kopke

Managing Director

Jayme Kopke worked as copywriter and creative director for several advertising agencies: FCB, Leo Burnett, Strat, BMZ-Park, Brandmill and Wunderman, the largest Portuguese relationship marketing agency. In these roles, he worked with both major consumer brands (Super Bock, Sogrape, Kellogg’s, Long Life, Unilever, Fiat…) as well as those oriented towards the business and professional market (projects for Galp, Ford, Oni, Microsoft, among others).

Jayme has received awards at advertising festivals such as the Club dos Criativos de Portugal, the Best in Relationship Marketing (CTT / APAP) and the International Automotive Advertising Awards. He has been distinguished in competitions such as Club dos Criativos de Portugal, Eurobest and Cannes. He has published articles in the newspapers Diário Económico amd Público , in the magazines Valor, Marketing e Publicidade, Meios e Publicidade e Marketeer. He collaborated on the blog Sangue, Suor e Ideas on topics related to marketing and communication. He regularly publishes articles on marketing communication in – Hamlet’s B2Blog.

Between 2004 and 2007 he ran courses in advertising and relationship marketing at Restart. In 2012 was one of the professors of the Master in Digital Marketing Executive at ISLA, in Lisbon. Jayme also taught two crash courses in APAN Academy – Portuguese Association of Advertisers – with the themes “How to Evaluate Creative Solutions” and “The Basics of Trade Marketing.”

In 2007 he founded Hamlet – the first Portuguese company specializing in B2B marketing communication.

Nigel Hawtin

Data Visualisation & Information Graphic Designer

A senior information graphic designer with 30 years of experience, 20 years of those as Graphics Editor for New Scientist, as well as for international clients. Nigel now runs his own visual communication and consultancy business and is currently the consultant information designer working with EMCDDA.

Nigel specialises in information design and visualisation for the science, technology and business sector. Designing visuals for the expert and non-expert and making data accessible.

Martin Atkin

Journalist & Filmmaker

Martin Atkin is a journalist and filmmaker with more than 30 years’ experience in the corporate and non-profit sectors. He has produced, directed and written thousands of hours of live and on-demand television news, features and sports programmes for the BBC, ITN and Sky. Among the senior positions he has held, Martin was Creative Director of Greenpeace International in Amsterdam, Media Director of WWF International in Switzerland, Editorial Director of Green.TV and CEO of Funnelweb Media in the UK. Martin is also a trainer and teacher of journalism, story-telling and documentary filmmaking.

Rui Lourenço

Content Manager

Rui joined Hamlet in May 2012 to assist the coordination of internal and external teams and ensure project management for clients such as ANA Airports of Portugal, Novabase, OTLIS or EDP.
He is also responsible for the management of digital marketing tools such as: Company Blog, Social Media Channels and E-newsletter. Before his experience at Hamlet, Rui was a content manager. He holds a degree in marketing, advertising and public relations.
